Brasil on Wheels

We provide wheelchairs to the underprivileged and physically disabled population in Brasil.

In partnership with local foundations in the Brazilian states of Espírito Santo, São Paulo, Minas Gerais and Rio de Janeiro, the Da Terra Brasil Foundation distributes wheelchairs to people with disabilities who lack the means and resources to acquire them on their own. Through a careful and selective process, we help ensure mobility and a dignified life for hundreds of Brazilians in need.

The Brasil On Wheels campaign was created with the purpose to provide wheelchair donations to the inhabitants of impoverished and underprivileged communities in Brazil. In partnership with the following institutions: Portal Amigo do Idoso, Osasco/SP; Casa Maria Maia, Carapicuíba/SP; Projeto Cadê Você, São Paulo/SP, Adefipe – Associação dos Deficientes Fisícos em Penapólis, Penapólis/SP, Instituto Solidário, ES and others, we will be distributing wheelchairs to the disabled or physically challenged who do not have the means, or lack the basic resources to acquire one on their own. During our many visits to Brazil throughout the years, we learned that there are thousands of people who have been confined to their beds for most of their lives, and we became aware of the numerous health and rehabilitation institutions for the poor who are in desperate need of wheelchairs.

Together with our partners, we will be providing not only the gift of mobility, but also that of dignity. Through a careful and selective process, we will identify and determine the needs and limitations of each individual enlisted in the program and provide ongoing oversight as well.

The Da Terra Brasil Foundation believes that everyone should have the opportunity to participate in society and live a dignified life, and this new campaign is a natural extension of our original work.

We are counting on you to make this campaign a great success!
